Weave was appointed to create a development prospectus for The Selby Trust, to support fundraising for a major regeneration project.
Ahead of a planned wider rebrand, the communications project also included work to refine their messaging and brand, and introduced new creative that reflects the ambition, aspirations and dynamism of the Selby Trust, their work and the communities they serve.
The north London charity is working in partnership with Haringey Council to create the Selby Urban Village – a major regeneration programme that will deliver new community spaces, sports facilities, hundreds of affordable homes and opportunities for connection, inspiration and learning for local people.
At the heart of these plans is a new 3,850sqm Selby Centre, to replace the trust’s current and much loved, but aging home.
With significant capital funding already confirmed (including a £20m grant from the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities), the charity is now working to secure additional investment to fund the fit out of the new Selby Centre and construction of a dedicated new sports facility – the Bull Lane Sports Centre.
At a critical stage in delivery of their vision and work for local people in Tottenham, Haringey and Enfield, our work included:
- full review of existing materials and assets
- recommendation and guidance on format and structure
- development of key messaging and narrative
- copywriting and content development (working from existing case studies and images)
- creative development and graphic design.
The final publication vividly communicates The Selby Trust’s work and impact, makes the case for funding and demonstrates the quality and impact that the new Selby Centre will deliver for local people.
